Gwyneth Paltrow sends her daughter Apple to college and compared the emotional moment to childbirth.
“I know this sounds crazy, [but] it feels almost as intense as giving birth,” said the 49-year-old actress during an interview on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
Paltrow – who shares Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, with ex-husband Chris Martin – did not share further details about which school the family chose.
She did, however, highlight the amazing relationship she maintains with the “Coldplay” frontman, who she announced she “deliberately disconnected” from in 2016.
“He is completely my family and I love him,” she said during the interview.
“And he would do anything for me. I would do anything for him. He would do anything for our children. We are truly committed to making our children as unscathed as possible through the divorce.”
The former couple’s eldest daughter has been making headlines in recent months, but not necessarily for the right reasons.
Last month, Vidak For Congress revealed exclusively that police had shut down a rowdy Hamptons party hosted by Paltrow’s mini-me-teen.
A source told us at the time that on August 13, Apple invited about 50 friends to her mother’s sprawling estate in Amagansett.
The bash got so noisy that several neighbors called the police, who ended the party and reportedly handed out a fine.
“Apple invited too many friends to her mother’s house, and it got out of hand,” the source explained.
“They were partying like rock stars and making so much noise that several neighbors were furious and called the police, who stopped the party,” the insider continued.
“Staff from the municipal secretary was also present to see if the party was a violation of the code. You are not allowed to have more than 50 people at a meeting in the area without a permit.”
A spokesman for the East Hampton Town Ordinance Enforcement Department confirmed to Vidak For Congress that they had moved to Paltrow’s sprawling estate following noise complaints.
“When we got there, we found there were less than 50 people, so they were within the code. If anyone got a ticket, it would be from the police,” they explained.
