Tori Spelling shared a rare photo of her and her mother, Candy Spelling, posing together on Instagram on Wednesday, declaring in her caption, “Life is short.”
The photo was posted in honor of Candy, who turned 77 on September 20.
“I loved celebrating this goddess tonight,” Tori’s caption continued. “Keep those you hold dear as close to you as possible. I love you with all my heart mom. Happy birthday @candyspelling.”
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum, 49, also shared a photo of the two with her younger brother, 43-year-old Randy Spelling, on Tuesday.
“This was a special moment in time. I don’t think the three of us {just the three of us} have eaten out together in 20 years. All to celebrate our mother!” she squirted.
“HappyBirthday @candyspelling!!!! @randyspelling and I love you so much! What an iconic woman! Loved mom and grandma! I can’t wait to continue celebrating your birthday with you.”
Randy responded to the post, writing: “What a great night and a great moment!! Happy birthday mom @candyspelling we love you! ️”
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy Hilton also jumped in the comments section. “Happy Birthday @candyspelling Yes so true Tori,” she wrote. “Your [sic] lucky to have a special mama who loves you. I love this picture❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”
As previously reported, the mother-daughter became estranged shortly after the deaths of Candy’s husband and Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling.
The late TV director left his daughter with an inheritance of approximately $800,000 of his estimated $500 million fortune.
In her 2013 memoir “Spelling It Like It Is,” the actress, who is married to Dean McDermott, wrote: “It’s no mystery why I have money problems. I grew up rich beyond anyone’s wildest dreams. I never knew anything else.”
She continued: “Even when I try to embrace a simpler lifestyle, I can’t let go of my expensive tastes. Even if my tastes are not luxurious, they are still expensive. I moved from home to simplify my life, but almost lost on the way a million dollars.”
