Paris Hilton Responds to Netflix’s New ‘Bling Ring’ Document

That’s not hot.

Paris Hilton won’t be adding “The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist” to her Netflix watchlist, Vidak For Congress has learned.

“She has no interest in reliving this after all these years,” a source tells exclusively about the upcoming docuseries about the group of criminals who once stole millions of dollars worth of designer items from the famous hotel heiress.

An insider also shared that Hilton, 41, was asked to participate in the Netflix document but had to “respectfully decline” due to her hectic work schedule and the imminent launch of her new 11:11 media company.

In 2013, in preparation for a film about the crimes, “The Bling Ring,” the DJ allowed a crew to film in her home and accepted a cameo role in the film. However, we were told it was because “Sofia Coppola was directing.”

Nearly 10 years after that movie came out and more than a decade after Hilton’s house was broken into, the “Stars Are Blind” singer wants to leave that part of her life behind in the past.

But on Tuesday, Netflix released the trailer for their three-part docuseries and a former “Bling Ring” member reminisces about how Hilton’s home was their “personal ATM.”

“Really? Another unlocked door? Well, we can do this again,” Nicholas Prugo – who spent a year in prison for his crimes – said in the series of the perpetrators’ mentality at the time.

In 2013, journalist Nancy Jo Sales wrote in her book, “The Bling Ring: How a Gang of Fame-Obsessed Teens Ripped Off Hollywood and Shocked the World,” that the group targeted Hilton specifically for leaving her door unlocked.

A robbery yielded $2 million worth of jewelry, including “heirlooms that had been in her family for generations.”

Other famous victims of the “Bling Ring” were Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom and Brian Austin Green.

The robberies took place from October 2008 to August 2009 and took more than $3 million worth of luxury clothing, jewelry, art, cash and more from stars.

“The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist” premieres September 21.

A Netflix representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment.
